A few weeks ago I went to North Van and helped out my friend by being her "unofficial" event photographer. Her daughter was performing East Indian folk dance. Afterwards I headed into Lonsdale Quay and took pictures of everything. When I got hungry, I stopped by this booth at the food court who made breakfast (it was 11:30-ish so I figure I should still have my breakfast :P ) anyway some dude walked past me with a croissant dish and it look really appetising so I looked at their menu more closely. Turns out it is called "The Eye Opener" and essentially it is a croissant filled with cream cheese, scrambled eggs and a layer of smoked salmon. No need to say anymore, just check out the picture here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/8545263@N05/2603696860

I went to watch this movie this evening and I was LOL'ing the whole time. What a crazy movie! Love it! Lots of witty dialogs! Love it! Maybe some day I'd get to visit Bruges and I can say - hey I've seen this place in the movie before!

...... I actually miss Bath... I wish I could have spent more time there... I only had a few hour there.

I miss the Stonehenge.
I wish I could just lie down on the grass field all afternoon and relax and enjoy the breeze.
but i remember last time I was there, someone wanted to leave after being there for 30 minutes LOL

Hard to believe the Canucks actually kicked Flames' butts last night. I was kinda upset because I thought they were going to do really poorly in the first period and my dad would give up watching, so I could watch The Trojan Horse on CBC. Oh well. Now I gotta find out if and when CBC would air a rerun of the first part of this two part miniseries. The second part of this miniseries will be aired on Sunday April 6 at 8pm.

Today I found out Mariah Carey actually has a song about a Chinese boy Ken Lee. Please check it out. Thanks McCake for the link.

I spent this weekend working on my uncle/cousin's PC. I should have gone out and take pictures of cherry blossom instead on this sunny Sunday afternoon. It's okay - I could always use more rest at home. It's been a crazy and productive week at work messing with CMSMS and shit. Learning to use this stuff and doing so-called web design (funtional side, not artistic/graphics side) makes me kinda feel alive again. Finally doing something exciting at work. Not that the stuff I have been doing are boring but just that this is new and not really related to the network stuff that I have been doing. This new skill is going to be useful for me at work and outside of work.

Actually I did go out for a bit this afternoon, it was sunny but cold but it's better than rain or hail and freezing shit. Damn it it's spring and why are we still getting shitty weather?!? Speaking of shitty, why are Canucks in shit? Why do our defense sucks? Why don't we have more shots on goal? So many questions with no answers.

OMG My friend told me his second child is on the way, due around October. Envy envy. I miss little Lokien. He must have already started to talk gibberish and stuff. Uncle Geediu need to teach him how to say "geediu" and "jun D" soon.

Kevinder is back and I might go to the Auto Show with him and other work buddies tomorrow or some time later this week. Time for more photos.

I miss her. I think about her often....

Today I had a breakthrough with CMS Made Simple.  I learned how to how to take a web site and convert it to a CMSMS template. I really am a geek because I was so excited when I got it to work but when I tried to explain to people how happy I am, they have no idea what I've just told them.

Sad shit.

Oh yea and the stupid Canucks lost 3 in a row.

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1000.00.

With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left.

If you had purchased $1000 of Delta Air Lines stock you would have $49.00 left.

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer/wine one year ago, drank all the beer/wine, then turned in the cans/bottles for the aluminium recycling REFUND, you would have had $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to Drink heavily and recycle.

What a crazy movie I was laughing so hard I was kicking the back of the seat in front of me LOL. Time well wasted hehe. I like that fat kid so much. I remembered him from another movie, I think he was in a couple of scenes in "Click" by Adam Sandler.

It's out around the long weekend but I am too chicken shit to upgrade my kbuntu Gusty Gibbons to this beta because it took me a while to tweaked it so that my Logitech bluetooth mouse and my wireless adapter are working. Heck, the last time I turned on my desktop computer at home was weeks ago, and I really use the desktop to watch DVDs in my bedroom. Is there a "XP Media-Edition" equivalent of ubuntu our there?

Today I got fed up and decided to stop being lazy and set up my new web site. No longer is my site hosted on blogger. I am hosting my own. I got to the point I am now very comfortable setting up an instance of CMSMS in minutes and I am okay with hacking away CSS files to get my site look the way I want it. In a day or two when the DNS changes are propagated, my site will be ready and you will be able to see this first blog entry!
